A recent warning people should be cognizant of about melatonin.

July 10, 2022 by Chad Leave a Comment

Attention, do not give people under the age of 20 years old melatonin. Research has shown it has stunted their growth during puberty.

Some Alternatives to sleeping medications:
Certain forms of Magnesium increase the neurotransmitter called GABA which helps turn off the DPO, thinking about the future duration path analysis and making one sort of sleepiness and the ability to stay asleep. The one that is suggested is called magnesium three innate which helps with drowsiness. The other supplement is called Theanine 100 to 200 mg 30 to 60 minutes before bed. You may have to play with these supplements because it has been recorded difficulty in waking up. The other supplement that can be very useful is called Apigenin, a chamomile derivative. As a side note, Apigenin has been shown to affect estrogen levels in women. All the supplements have a pretty broad safety measure but again consult your registered physician first. A great website I can refer you to is called examine.com. There you can find links to peer-reviewed studies for any compound or supplement. You also can find warnings about them as well.
The melatonin warning occurs at 19:30 when Huberman says melatonin suppresses the onset of puberty (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nm1TxQj9IsQ&t=1125s).
