These past three weeks have been amazing but tiring. The first week had to do with Christmas. The second week had to do with a wonderful Singapore trip. I learned so much in Singapore. The few things that I would like to say about Singapore are as follows:
- Super clean: Having a high density of (e.g., roughly 5.5 million) people would make a person to believe that this country is filthy. I barely saw any trash. along those same lines crime rate was especially low. One striking difference that I learned about was that having a gun is illegal. Maybe the United States should adopt some of Singaporeans ways of life.
- Different people: There are many different cultures predominantly in Singapore in the city state. Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Western influences are all palpable there, making for a mix of traditions and local customs.
- Food: with the different people comes different foods. I would have to say is if you ever have a chance to venture to Singapore go there and try every restaurant.
This upcoming week I have a job interview to substitute teach in Green Bay this Monday and potentially having to teach the rest of the week.
